Position Overview
VieMed is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Respiratory Sales Representative to join our expanding team. This field-based role (requiring 80%+ local travel) offers an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare sales professionals to leverage existing relationships and contribute to improving patient outcomes through innovative respiratory solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and expand strong professional relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals.
Promote VieMed’s comprehensive home ventilation and disease management programs through engaging presentations, clinical education sessions, and collaborative partnerships.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with territory objectives to achieve and surpass growth targets.
Collaborate proactively with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operational staff, to facilitate smooth patient transitions from hospital to home care.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of account interactions, referral activity, and sales performance metrics.
Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and resilience in a fast-paced healthcare sales environment, consistently achieving sales goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or Respiratory Care departments within the healthcare community.
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, particularly Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV).
Proven ability to navigate hospital systems, influence clinical decision-makers, and generate referral volume.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare sales, preferably within respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care (LTACH), or critical care settings.
Formal sales training and/or clinical background preferred.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively in the assigned territory.
