Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative

Location: Saginaw, MI

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-oriented Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join VieMed’s dynamic team. This critical role involves expanding our market presence in respiratory care by fostering strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, promoting innovative ventilation solutions, and improving patient outcomes in the home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Leverage existing partnerships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals and expand market reach.

  • Product Promotion & Education: Present and articulate the benefits of VieMed’s home ventilation and disease management programs through formal presentations, clinical education sessions, and collaborative engagements with healthcare providers.

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans to achieve and surpass sales targets, ensuring consistent growth.

  • Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with internal respiratory therapists and operational teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions from hospital to home care, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  • Account Documentation: Maintain thorough records of account activities, referrals, sales interactions, and follow-up actions to support ongoing account development and reporting.

  • Professional Development: Demonstrate proactive engagement, professionalism, and persistence in a fast-paced healthcare sales environment, continuously seeking opportunities for learning and growth.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, and Respiratory Care departments.

  • Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, including Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV).

  • Successful track record in healthcare sales, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care (LTACH), or critical care environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex hospital systems, influence decision-makers, and drive referral growth.

  • Formal sales training and/or clinical experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the Saginaw territory.
