Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative Location: Phoenix, AZ (Serving the surrounding region)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join VieMed’s dynamic team. This role is essential in expanding our presence within healthcare facilities and ensuring patients receive advanced respiratory care in their home environment. The ideal candidate will leverage existing professional relationships and possess a strong clinical background in respiratory therapy and ventilator management to drive sales and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to increase patient referrals for home respiratory solutions.
Promote VieMed’s comprehensive home ventilation and disease management programs through product presentations, clinical education, and collaborative initiatives with healthcare providers.
Develop tailored sales strategies for assigned territory, setting and exceeding growth targets through active engagement and account management.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operational staff, to ensure smooth patient transitions from acute care settings to home care.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, referrals, and account progress using designated CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and clinical advancements to effectively communicate value propositions.
Demonstrate professionalism, persistence, and high ethical standards in all interactions within a fast-paced healthcare sales environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Established relationships with healthcare professionals such as Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or within respiratory care departments (required).
Hands-on clinical experience with Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) to confidently educate and influence healthcare providers.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare sales, preferably within respiratory therapy, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH), or critical care settings.
Proven ability to navigate hospital systems, influence key decision-makers, and generate referrals.
Formal sales training or clinical experience in respiratory therapeutics is highly desirable.
Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel primarily within Phoenix and the surrounding areas (80%+ local travel).
