Position Overview:
Are you a driven sales professional with established relationships in hospital settings and a passion for advancing respiratory patient care? VieMed invites experienced individuals to join our team as a Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative. This dedicated, field-based role (80%+ local travel) offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in respiratory disease management.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, and other referring healthcare providers to increase patient referrals for home ventilation and respiratory care programs.
Educate healthcare professionals through presentations, clinical demonstrations, and ongoing training about VieMed’s comprehensive respiratory and disease management solutions.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to your territory to ensure continuous growth and achievement of sales targets.
Collaborate closely with internal Respiratory Therapists and clinical teams to facilitate seamless patient transitions from hospital to home care settings.
Maintain detailed, accurate records of account activities, referrals, and sales performance metrics to support ongoing territory management and growth initiatives.
Stay informed on the latest advancements in respiratory therapy and DME products to effectively communicate benefits and clinical value.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven relationships with key hospital referral sources such as Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, or Respiratory Care departments (required).
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, especially Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV), is essential.
Minimum of 2 years’ successful healthcare sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in respiratory therapy, DME, LTACH, or critical care environments.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex hospital systems, influence decision-makers, and grow referral networks.
Formal sales training and/or clinical experience in respiratory care are highly desirable.
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
