Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Clinical Respiratory Sales Representative to join VieMed’s expanding team in Miami, FL. This field-based role entails building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals involved in respiratory care, primarily focusing on promoting our advanced home ventilation and disease management programs. The ideal candidate will leverage existing hospital relationships, possess hands-on experience with mechanical ventilation, and demonstrate a proven track record in healthcare sales.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Development: Cultivate and expand existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to generate patient referrals.
Educational Outreach: Deliver compelling presentations, conduct clinical education sessions, and foster collaborative relationships with healthcare providers to promote VieMed’s home ventilation solutions and disease management programs.
Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective territory-specific sales strategies to meet or exceed growth targets, tracking progress through accurate documentation of account activities and sales metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operational staff, to ensure smooth patient transitions from hospital to home care settings.
Regulatory and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations, product offerings, and market trends to ensure compliance and ethical sales practices.
Market Intelligence: Gather insight on competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
Established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or other referral sources within the Miami healthcare community.
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, including Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV).
A minimum of 2 years successful healthcare sales experience, preferably in respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), critical care, or long-term acute care settings.
Demonstrated ability to navigate hospital systems, influence clinical decision-makers, and drive referral growth.
Formal sales training and/or clinical experience related to respiratory care or critical care strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
