Position Overview:
Are you a driven sales professional with established relationships within hospital settings and a passion for advancing respiratory patient care? VieMed is seeking a highly motivated Respiratory Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This field-based role primarily involves local travel (80%+), engaging directly with healthcare providers to promote our innovative respiratory solutions and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and referral sources to generate patient referrals.
Educate healthcare providers on VieMed’s home ventilation and disease management programs through impactful presentations, clinical collaborations, and education sessions.
Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass territory growth targets.
Collaborate closely with internal respiratory therapists and operational teams to ensure smooth patient transitions from hospital to home care.
Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of account activity, referral sources, sales activities, and key performance metrics.
Demonstrate professionalism, persistence, and proactive engagement in a fast-paced healthcare sales environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or Respiratory Care departments within the healthcare system (required).
Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation or Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) (required).
At least 2 years of successful healthcare or DME sales experience, ideally within respiratory therapy, critical care, or LTACH environments.
Demonstrated ability to navigate hospital systems, influence clinical and administrative decision-makers, and drive referral growth.
Formal sales training or clinical background preferred.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
