Required Skills:
Proven experience in a CLIA-certified laboratory, with a focus on Blood Bank management
Strong leadership abilities to manage a team of 3 full-time technicians and 1 PRN
Expertise in laboratory operations, quality control, and compliance
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience as a Laboratory Director or Manager
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Additional certification in laboratory science or management
Experience with personnel scheduling and workflow optimization
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related fields
Valid ASCP or equivalent certification
Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, including Blood Bank expertise
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work Monday-Friday, 7A-3P or 8A-5P, with rotating weekends on call
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Possession of necessary licensure and certifications, with reimbursement support for travel and related expenses
