Join Our Team as a Nurse Manager and Lead Surgical Services to Excellence!
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Nurse Manager to oversee our surgical departments and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with leadership, offering an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive, innovative environment. As a key leader, you will coordinate daily workflows, optimize staffing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational excellence and excellent patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
Extensive management experience in perioperative and surgical settings.
Documented OR management experience with CNOR certification.
Minimum of 2 years of perioperative and surgical management experience.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures across specialties including orthopedics, trauma, vascular, gynecology, general, ENT, pediatrics, urology, bariatrics, and spine.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Competent in real-time schedule adjustments, resource allocation, and responding to operational changes.
Ability to work effectively with anesthesia, surgeons, and department leaders.
Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
Ability to fulfill on-call responsibilities across all surgical specialties.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Scope system.
Familiarity with various surgical instruments and procedures.
Knowledge of trauma protocols, neuro and ortho spine procedures.
Previous experience with Thoracic surgery is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and adaptability for dynamic surgical environments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
CNOR certification required.
At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in perioperative nursing or surgical services.
Other Requirements:
Availability for on-call duties for all specialties.
Commitment to maintaining departmental standards and patient safety.
Ability to adapt to evolving surgical technologies and procedures.
Willingness to work Days shifts (40 hours/week) from 10 am to 8 pm.
