Required Skills:
Valid RN license from the MN Board of Nursing
Certified Nurse Anesthetist certification
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a CRNA
ACLS/BLS Tier 2 certification (or equivalent) upon hire
Proficiency in supporting staff within a Care Team Model (4:1)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Epic EMR system
Familiarity with tertiary care procedures
Interest in occasional overnight or weekend shifts
Additional certifications in advanced airway management or specialized anesthesia techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or Anesthesia
At least one year of recent CRNA clinical experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Residency at least 50 miles from Abbott Northwestern (MN not a compact state)
Ability to work a minimum of two weeks per month, with shifts primarily scheduled around 12-hour daytime hours (06:30-18:30)
Participation in scheduled beeper call (8-12 hours) on some evenings and weekends (optional for some shifts)
Credentialing process completion within approximately 90-120 days
Willingness to support specialized care procedures, excluding blocks, A-lines, epidurals, or spinals
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay rate: $218.59 (eligible for a $10/hour increase after 6 months if previously affiliated with Abbott)
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Competitive pay packages including overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x rate
Paid orientation plus licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable

Shift Details:
12-hour shifts available (06:30-18:30), offering flexibility for daytime scheduling
