Key Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia services supporting a variety of specialized procedures for patients aged 12 and above.
Operate within a supervised model, supporting staff with a 4:1 care team ratio.
Support a range of shifts, predominantly 12-hour days, including occasional overnight and weekend coverage (not mandatory).
Use Epic EMR for documentation and workflow management.
Participate in a care team that emphasizes efficiency, safety, and high-quality patient care.
Required Skills:
Current MN RN license and certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia-related experience.
Proficient in ACLS/BLS Tier 2 (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
Ability to operate within a supervised anesthesia model, with adherence to facility protocols.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience in a hospital setting, especially tertiary care.
Familiarity with Epic EMR.
Availability for occasional overnight shifts and weekend on-call.
Experience with specialized procedures (although blocks, epidurals, spinal, and A-lines are not performed by CRNAs at this facility).
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
At least 1 year of relevant clinical anesthesia experience.
Prior affiliation with Abbott Northwestern is advantageous for higher starting pay.
Other Requirements:
Must reside at least 50 miles from Abbott Northwestern (MN not a compact state).
Credentialing process estimated at 90-120 days.
Valid licensure, certification, and compliance with all required re-certifications.
Ability to work full-time, with a minimum of two weeks per month.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay rate of $218.59, with a new provider rate at $240/hr.
Increased rate to $250/hr for previous Abbott affiliation.
Potential for a $10/hr increase after 6 months.
Weekly pay via direct deposit.
Paid orientation (2 days).
Overtime applied at 1.5x rate, with specific holiday premiums.
Shift differential payments for on-call, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses.
