Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Make a Difference in Patient Care!

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide exceptional anesthesia care at Moses Cone, a reputable center serving diverse patient populations. What You Will Do:
As a key member of our anesthesia team, you will deliver safe and effective anesthesia services across a broad range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, trauma, and more. You will work 5x8 shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a flexible schedule requiring no consecutive days, supporting work-life balance. The role involves float responsibilities across multiple departments and locations, with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.

Required Skills:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and Board Certified
  • Active North Carolina state license or eligible for Compact licensing
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of anesthesia experience (no new graduates)
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Ability to float between departments and adapt to various anesthetic procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR and anesthesia equipment including Drager machines and Philips monitors

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with cardiac/vascular and neuro anesthesia
  • Familiarity with pediatric patient care
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting with high patient volumes
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
  • 1-2 years of professional anesthesia practice in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to license for North Carolina if not already licensed
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts with occasional floating to different departments
  • Eligibility to undergo credentialing within 60-90 days
  • Must have valid certification for ACLS and PALS
  • Ability to manage patients of all ages and support a busy operative schedule
