Required Skills:
Active or pending Alaska Medical License
Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA)
Experience performing nerve blocks, especially interscalene, supraclavicular, infraclavicular, and axillary blocks
Proficient in placing interscalene and adductor canal catheters
Comfortable practicing independently and managing a high volume of cases
Strong understanding of ambulatory surgical procedures and anesthesia techniques
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with TAP blocks and other regional anesthesia techniques
Ability to handle a variety of outpatient cases including general, hernia, eye, ear, sinus, and orthopedic surgeries
Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Flexible in covering occasional one-day neuro-ortho cases or assisting with anesthesia coverage as needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Minimum 2 years of CRNA practice, preferably in outpatient or ambulatory care settings
Prior credentialing experience or ability to expedite the process
Other Requirements:
Willingness to cover shifts starting at 7:00 a.m. (be ready by 7:00)
Able to handle travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements if not staying on property
Must meet all credentialing requirements, including primary source verification
Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime eligible (time and a half) for hours exceeding 40 or after 8 hours per day
Flexibility for occasional on-call or extra procedures as needed
