What You’ll Bring:
Graduation from an accredited medical assistant training program (CAAHEP or ABHES accredited) or formal military medical training
Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or registration with the American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants, or National Center for Competency Testing
Minimum of one year of recent full-time experience in outpatient family practice or primary care settings
Proficiency in patient check-in procedures, vital signs measurement, medical history recording, and diagnostic procedures
Strong organizational skills to maintain exam rooms and complete requisitions accurately
Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
Nice to Have:
Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience with electronic health records systems
Ability to perform minor diagnostic procedures or laboratory testing
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduates from accredited medical assistant programs or U.S. Armed Forces medical training
Recent full-time outpatient clinical experience within the last three years
Other Requirements:
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
References from practicing providers or supervisors demonstrating professional competence
Ability to obtain necessary clearances and certifications
