What You’ll Do:
Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
Scrub and circulate in IR and cath lab procedures
Perform EKG lead placement and assist with complex vascular/heart device implants
Support urgent/emergent cardiology and IR procedures, including STEMI and IR callbacks
Follow unit protocols for call rotations and weekend requirements
Work with advanced imaging equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, and SonoSite Ultrasound
Ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency in a collaborative team environment
What You Need:
Valid ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology/cardiology IR procedures
Ability to scrub, circulate, and perform EKG lead placement
Experience with implantable devices such as PPM and ICD is preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
About the Assignment:
This role is based at a reputable IR, cardiology, and vascular suite with an approximate 80% IR and 20% other procedures. The unit requires physical presence from Monday through Friday with no holiday RTO allowed, and technicians start directly on the unit on Mondays pending Dimensions training. The team handles urgent/emergent cases and utilizes advanced equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
