Certifications Required:
ACLS
BLS
ARRT(R)
LSRTBE state license (temporary license takes 14 days; must apply within 48 hours of signing)
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab (no first-time travelers)
Proficiency in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
Skilled in Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
Must be experienced in STEMI care with focus on FTB/DTB < 60 minutes
Capable of performing peripheral and EP procedures
Workload & Schedule:
Average daily census: 6
Shifts: 8-10 hours, 5 days/week; schedule depends on staffing
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
Call: Up to 3 times/week; includes weekday call rotation with response within 30 minutes
Weekday call is 3x per week on weeks without weekend call, 2x on weekends scheduled for call
Expectations:
Work independently and confidently in all CCL procedures
Demonstrate strong teamwork and a patient-first mindset
Willing to share expertise and support colleagues
About the Lab:
Progressive facility performing cardiac, peripheral, vascular (diagnostic & interventional), EP, and IR procedures
Imaging: Siemens (floor and ceiling mount), Cannon labs
EMR: EPIC with Cupid documentation
Highly efficient Code STEMI team with system-best D2B times
Backfill: C. Lawrence
Shift Info: Day 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)
