What You’ll Do:
Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization Lab departments
Monitor and record procedures, including conscious sedation
Assist with patient assessments before, during, and after procedures
Collaborate closely with IR and Cardiac Cath Lab teams to ensure seamless patient care
Participate in call rotations, including nights and weekends, with time on-call from COB Friday to Monday morning
Adapt to floating between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed for departmental coverage
Maintain compliance with ACLS and BLS certification requirements
What You Need:
Active RN license in Louisiana or appropriate state credentials
Minimum 2 years of ICU or IR experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
Ability to perform conscious sedation and accurately monitor/procedures
Flexibility with shifts, call duty, and floating assignments
Effective communication and teamwork skills
