Are you a dedicated and skilled radiology professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment? We are seeking a highly motivated Technologist to support our cardiology team during day shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, assist in critical procedures, and contribute to patient care excellence in Midland, Michigan.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare radiographic equipment and assist in angiographic and interventional procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images to uphold the highest standards of imaging.
Assist in patient preparation, post-procedure care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Operate advanced electronic equipment including cardiac output monitors, oxygen saturation devices, hemodynamic tools, and pacemaker programmers to support diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in radiologic or technologist roles, particularly within cath labs or interventional radiology.
Proficiency in operating radiographic and hemodynamic imaging equipment.
Strong understanding of sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with physicians and medical staff.
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications such as RCIS or RT (Registered Technologist) credentials.
Experience with cardiac procedures and hemodynamic monitoring.
Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular imaging and intervention techniques.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab, interventional radiology, or similar setting.
Other Requirements:
Valid licensure and certifications as required by state and federal regulations.
Ability to handle radiation safety protocols and possess current BLS/ACLS certification.
Willingness to work during the scheduled day shifts and adhere to all safety standards.
