Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CVOR Tech, with proficiency in all aspects of cardiovascular cases.
Extensive knowledge of CV/heart surgery procedures, including general, kidney transplant, and robotic surgeries.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent technical skills and patient safety awareness.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with surgical teams.
Proficiency in cardiac assist devices and surgical instrumentation.
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience working in an emergency team or a fast-response environment.
Additional certifications such as CNOR or specialized cardiovascular certifications.
Flexibility to handle varied procedures and assist in emergency situations when required.
Prior experience in similar high-acuity surgical settings.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification.
Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology, Nursing, or a related field is advantageous.
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in cardiovascular surgery.
Other Requirements:
Availability to work the D12 shift (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM), including mandatory on-call responsibilities.
Willingness to participate in emergency response and relief teams as assigned.
Ability to start on 02/02/2026 and commit to a 12-week backfill assignment.
Must meet all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable.
This role does not accept first-time travelers; candidates must have prior relevant experience.
