VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiac Catheterization Technician to support our healthcare partners in delivering exceptional cardiac care. This vital role involves assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. Required Skills:
Certificate from an accredited cardiovascular technologist program (CAAHEP or JRC-CVT) or equivalent military training (Air Force Cardiopulmonary program)
Active California State license or National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification with RCIS credential
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum of two years of professional experience in Cardiac Catheterization
At least 12 months of recent full-time or part-time (over 20 hours/week) experience in Monitor and Scrub roles within the last 24 months
Registered as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT certification
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience working in diverse cardiac care settings
Additional certifications in invasive cardiology procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or military equivalent
Proven track record of working in invasive cardiac procedures for at least two years
Current licensure and certifications aligned with industry standards
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work day shifts between 7 am and 7 pm, totaling 8-10 hours per day
Ability to travel as needed for assignments
Commitment to maintaining certifications and licensure up to date
$5.09/hr paid towards candidate's Health and Wellness benefits
