What You’ll Do
  • Prepare for and support surgical procedures within Labor & Delivery / OB services and high-risk non-OB cases as assigned
  • Maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical workflows
  • Support perioperative sterilization processes and high-level disinfection (HLD) requirements
  • Assist with decontamination tasks and readiness of equipment/sets
  • Participate in OR readiness processes including response readiness items such as crash cart support (as required by workflow)
  • Support specialty case needs, including scope/probe reprocessing when applicable

What You Need
Required
  • NBSTA certification in hand to submit
  • BLS
  • NBSTSA
  • 1+ year of relevant experience
  • Experience with scrub/OR workflow, including:
    • Sterilization
    • High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
    • Aseptic Technique
  • L&D experience

Preferred
  • Decontamination experience
  • Crash cart familiarity within OR workflow
  • Scope/Probe reprocessing experience
  • First-time travelers are accepted

About the Assignment
This position supports a leading facility’s Labor & Delivery and Surgical Services environment, covering typical OB procedures (such as C-sections and related gynecologic procedures) as well as select high-risk non-OB cases. The schedule runs 4x10s days with blocked scheduling available and general OR start time beginning around 3:00 PM per site workflow.
