Shift: Night shifts (8P – 6A, 11-hour; other shifts as scheduled)
Hours/Week: Flexible, based on schedule needs
Employment Type: Contract on W-2 basis
Licensure/Certs: State of NC license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, Board Certification in Cardiology
Experience: 1-2 years preferred
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $298/hour + holiday pay (time-and-a-half for holidays)

What You’ll Do
Provide adult cardiology consults upon request
Manage E&M services in a hospital setting, with no procedures required
Read and interpret Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
Document all charges manually and keep logs
Support patient care under Cone Health Heartcare
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain timely communication
Contribute to the hospital’s cardiology department and enhance patient outcomes
What You Need
Board certification in Cardiology
Active NC medical license and DEA
ACLS & BLS certifications
1-2 years of cardiology experience preferred
