Are you a dedicated Cardiology Physician passionate about advancing cardiac health in a dynamic hospital environment? We are seeking an experienced and motivated provider to support our non-invasive cardiology department, delivering exceptional care to adult patients while enjoying a flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits. What You Will Do:
Provide expert non-invasive cardiology services, including stress testing, TEEs, cardioversions, and interpretation of studies like Echos, Holters, Nucs, and EKGs
Support hospital staff with flexible coverage of 1-2 weeks per month, including weekends and nights as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and advanced practice providers, in a hospital setting with a bed size of 265 beds
Utilize EPIC EMR to document and manage patient care efficiently
Manage an adult patient population (18+) with an average of 25-35 patients per day
Required Skills:
Board Certification in Cardiology
Active PA state license or IMLC limited license
DEA certification for prescribing medications
Proficiency in reading cardiology studies such as Echos, Holters, Stress Tests, Nucs, and EKGs
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with CTA image reading
Additional certifications in advanced cardiology procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Demonstrated experience in non-invasive cardiology, preferably in a hospital setting
Prior experience with EPIC EMR system is a plus
Other Requirements:
Credentialing process to be completed within 90 days; temporary privileges available with a clean file
Willingness to work day shifts from 08:00 to 17:00
Ability to travel or reimbursements as applicable for licensure, certification, and travel expenses
