Overview:
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Cath Technician and play a vital role in cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing essential support to cardiologists and enhancing patient care. Required Skills:
Proven experience in radiology, specifically in cardiovascular procedures such as pre- and post-cath, EP, and vascular care
Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization processes and related diagnostics
Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging and cath lab equipment
Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
Effective communication skills for collaboration with medical teams
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to handle 10-hour shifts and be on call as required
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional experience with advanced imaging modalities
Knowledge of hospital or clinical protocols in cath lab settings
BLS or ACLS certification
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid Medical Assistant (MA) license
Prior experience in a cath lab environment preferred
Relevant radiology or cardiovascular technical certifications is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Valid MA license
Flu vaccine required
Ability to work a 10-hour shift, 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities
Travel expenses reimbursed when applicable
Licensure, certification, and other reimbursements provided as applicable
Pay Rate: $75.17 per hour
