We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to join our renowned surgical services team. What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 1.5 years of experience working in CVOR and trauma settings.
Proven experience with adult through geriatric patient care.
Expertise in Cardiac and Vascular surgery cases.
Knowledge of fire safety, aseptic techniques, laser safety, sharp safety, specimen handling and labeling, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol (time-out procedures).
Current BLS certification and NBSTSA credential.
Ability to float to main OR and vascular OR as needed.
Strong communication skills and ability to adhere to safety protocols.
Nice to Have:
Experience working in a community hospital setting.
Familiarity with endo/laparoscopic, ENT, general, GYN, neuro, ortho, plastics, and urology surgeries.
Experience with organ donation procedures.
Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Certified Surgical Technician or equivalent certification.
1+ years of recent CVOR and trauma experience in a clinical setting.
Additional Requirements:
Availability for 4x10-hour day shifts (6:15 AM – 4:45 PM).
Willingness to work 2 weekdays plus every third weekend, with occasional float to other ORs.
Must maintain licensure and certifications, and be committed to continual learning and patient safety.
