What You’ll Do
Prepare and scrub for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
Assist in vascular and thoracic procedures ensuring aseptic technique
Reprocess cardiovascular and thoracic instruments following best practices
Support the operating team by managing equipment, supplies, and documentation on EPIC system
Provide exceptional patient care and observe safety protocols during surgeries
Participate in call duties and shift rotations as scheduled
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth surgical workflows
What You Need
Required:
Valid BLS certification
5+ years of CST experience with cardiac & vascular focus
2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgery settings
1+ year CVOR experience in a Level I trauma facility
Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, OR procedures, and equipment documentation
Preferred:
Experience with EPIC charting system
