Join Our Team as a CVOR Tech Surgical Services – Make a Difference in Cardiac and Vascular Care
Are you a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist with specialized experience in Cardiovascular Operating Rooms? We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Tech to join our dynamic surgical services team. In this critical role, you will directly contribute to life-saving procedures, supporting cardiac and vascular surgeries in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You Bring to the Team
Scrub experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures
Minimum of 5+ years of total CST experience
At least 2+ years working within cardiac and vascular cases
1+ year of CVOR experience
Experience in a Level I Trauma facility
Proficiency with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
Strong aseptic technique and infection control skills
Ability to operate and document using EPIC or similar charting systems
Competence in crash cart management, equipment sterilization, and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to cover rotating shifts scheduled between 06:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., including on-call and weekend responsibilities
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience with complex procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular care
Knowledge of OR equipment and instrumentation maintenance
Educational Background and Experience
Certified Surgical Technologist certification
At least 5 years of related CST experience, with specialized time in CVOR settings
Demonstrated effectiveness in high-pressure, trauma, or specialty surgical environments
Other Requirements
Ability to work rotating shifts (2x8/2x12) with flexibility
On-call availability, including weekends
Valid certifications and licensure pertinent to surgical technology
Willingness to work within a team-focused environment
Position Details
Hourly Pay Rate: $62.47
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Start Date: March 9, 2026
Location: Various facilities (travel reimbursement when applicable)
