Required Skills:
Minimum of 2+ years experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant nursing
At least 1 year CVOR experience
1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
Proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
Strong charting skills using EPIC EMR system
BLS certification is mandatory
Flexibility to work various shifts including 2x8 and 2x12, with occasional call responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications such as ACLS or a specialty-specific credential
Experience working with high-acuity surgical patients
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work collaboratively in a team setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
RN license in good standing
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field is preferred
Proven track record in fast-paced, Level I trauma or cardiac surgery units
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work shifts starting as early as 6:30 AM or ending as late as 11:00 PM
Flexibility to fill shifts based on schedule needs
Valid licensure, certifications, and ability to travel or reimbursements as applicable
