What You’ll Do
Provide specialized nursing care to Cardiac ICU patients with high acuity needs
Monitor patients using telemetry, ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, and other invasive devices
Administer medications including conscious sedation and balloon pumps
Start IVs, manage PA lines, and respond to emergencies with Rapid Response and Code Blue protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate documentation within Epic electronic health record system
Float within ICU units as needed, following hospital protocols
What You Need
Required:
Valid Ohio RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years ICU experience, preferably in Cardiac ICU
Skills in IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, PA lines, and EPIC experience
Preferred:
Previous travel or agency ICU experience
