Required Skills:
Proven experience operating CT equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Strong knowledge of patient positioning and immobilization techniques.
Ability to prepare and administer contrast media intravenously per protocol.
Excellent understanding of radiologic safety standards and protocols.
Skills in digital image management including capture, storage, and transfer.
Competency in monitoring patients for adverse reactions and responding appropriately.
Effective communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with medical staff.
Ability to maintain high-quality image standards and perform routine calibrations.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience assisting radiologists with specialized procedures.
Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
Prior experience in a hospital or comparable healthcare setting.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
At least 2 years of experience in a clinical radiology environment.
Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized CT certification.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work night shifts consistently.
Compliance with all safety, confidentiality, and procedural regulations.
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.
Must meet all regulatory requirements set forth by the Michigan Department of Public Health and other relevant agencies.
