We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in comprehensive CT imaging procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the candidate to be proficient in patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation safety, and quality control, with a solid understanding of anatomy and pathology relevant to imaging. The role involves providing exceptional patient care, maintaining strict adherence to hospital policies, and collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and departmental staff.
Shift: Day (United States of America)
Schedule & Requirements:
Work hours are Fri-Sun with Call from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
Certification: ARRT-R Radiograph, Accredited Program Radiologic Technology, BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS, BLS-I – Basic Life Support - Instructor.
Education: Minimum of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience: At least 1 year of Radiology experience; CT experience preferred.
Candidates must obtain all certifications upon hire unless otherwise specified.
Must exhibit excellent communication skills for routine verbal and written communication.
Demonstrated ability to function independently and under pressure.
Detail-oriented with effective multitasking capabilities.
Ability to prioritize effectively in a stressful environment.
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and physicians.
Ability to operate independently while collaborating with various teams.
Compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and professional standards.
Competent in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, radiation safety, and quality control tests.
Understanding of anatomy and pathology as it relates to imaging accuracy.
