Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of radiology experience, with specific expertise in CT imaging, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection. This position requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, patients, visitors, and departmental staff. The technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and professional standards.
Shift Details: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Certifications Required: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS or ARC-BLS or BLS-I (willing to obtain if not already held)
Minimum Education: Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology
Additional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and customer service skills
Competent in performing all required quality control tests as per ACR and manufacturer guidelines
