Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Augusta University Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of radiology experience, including proficiency in computed tomography procedures. The position requires certified professionals in radiography and CT, with current BLS certification. Responsibilities include patient positioning, exposure management, and radiation safety, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. You must demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications required upon hire
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience; experience in CT preferred
Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and quality control procedures
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must follow all hospital policies and professional standards
Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60
