Join Our Team as a CT Tech Radiology / Cardiology – Make a Difference in Emergency Care

Are you an experienced CT Technologist passionate about providing critical imaging support in fast-paced, high-stakes environments? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team at a Level I trauma center, serving a diverse patient population. This role offers you the chance to work in a challenging yet rewarding setting, contributing to life-saving diagnoses while advancing your skills in radiology and cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality CT scans across various anatomical regions, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion.
  • Operate advanced CT equipment with precision to capture diagnostic images.
  • Support patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to respond to urgent clinical needs.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technician.
  • Current BLS and ARRT certifications are mandatory.
  • Advanced ARRT certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners and Epic electronic health record system.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure in emergency settings.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with other imaging modalities.
  • Additional certifications or specialized training in trauma or emergency radiology.
  • Familiarity with community hospital environments and multidisciplinary care teams.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certification and licensing as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • At least one year of relevant CT imaging experience in a hospital or trauma setting.
  • Experience working in high-acuity, emergency, or critical care environments.

Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 12-hour schedule.
  • Ability to work every third weekend and participate in call rotations every six weeks.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
