Required Skills:
Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
Valid state licensure in Michigan
Proven experience with general surgical anesthesia, nerve blocks, regional anesthesia, and sedation
Proficiency in airway management and ventilation techniques
Strong understanding of patient monitoring and safety protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with remote supervision
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in pediatric anesthesia
Knowledge of ultrasound-guided procedures
Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
Prior experience in a hospital or Level 4 trauma setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia
Minimum of 2 years of clinical CRNA experience
Prior locum or agency-based work preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
Ability to commence work by March 1, 2026, with an estimated credentialing period of approximately 60 days
Must be willing to travel for assignment; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Orientation paid at half of the hourly rate
Availability to work daytime hours Monday through Friday, with an average of 15 cases per day
No on-call responsibilities; coverage includes general surgical and endoscopy procedures for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
