Required Skills:
Valid South Carolina (SC) License with a clean background (no exceptions)
Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience
Active certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Proficiency in anesthesia procedures including general, spine, vent management, arterial line placement, and evaluation/management of acute issues
Experience with Epic EMR system
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently within a medical-directed anesthesia model with a 4:1 ratio
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in outpatient surgery center settings
Exposure to outpatient GI, CV/TEE, MRI coverage
Knowledge of pediatric anesthesia (peds approximately 5% of cases)
Additional certifications or training related to anesthesia and perioperative care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program completion
At least 2 years of prior anesthesia practice, preferably in hospital or outpatient settings
Other Requirements:
Must have an active SC license and be able to expedite credentials processing
Willingness to work a day shift (5x10-hour days, 07:00 – 17:00)
Flexibility to assist with out-of-OR cases, including GI, CV/TEE, and MRI coverage
Reliable transportation and availability for scheduled shifts
