Join Our Premier Anesthesia Team as a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Detroit, MI

Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit is seeking dedicated locum CRNAs to provide expert anesthesia care in a dynamic hospital environment. What You Will Do:
Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care for adult patients, including neurosurgical and general surgeries, as well as deep sedation/MAC procedures
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Conduct preoperative assessments and patient education to support excellent care
Manage ventilation and oversee physician-assisted regional anesthesia
Monitor patients continuously throughout procedures, respond to emergencies, and document care accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety
Work only during daytime hours (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts) with no on-call or weekend work required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Current NBCRNA certification
Active state license without restrictions or pending approvals
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Significant post-graduate anesthesia experience; not suitable for new graduates
Ability to work independently within supervised settings
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience managing pediatric populations
Familiarity with trauma center protocols
Proficiency in ventilation management and regional anesthesia techniques
Preferred Education & Experience:
Graduate degree from an accredited anesthesia program
Prior experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital or similar high-acuity environment
Other Requirements:
Fully licensed to practice in Michigan; candidates must not be waiting for licensure
Willingness to undergo credentialing process (estimated 90-120 days)
Reimbursement for mileage at IRS standard rates; no lodging, flights, or rental cars provided
This is a locum position only; not a permanent placement
