Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of life for individuals with cognitive and physical functioning challenges, under the supervision of experienced Occupational Therapists. Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Active State Licensure/Registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
Proven ability to implement evidence-based clinical interventions
Strong communication skills to coordinate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
Experience with therapeutic activities, ADL retraining, exercise, modalities, and assistive devices
Ability to assess patient progress and make informed adjustments to treatment plans
Attention to detail in documentation and regulatory compliance
Commitment to ethical practice in accordance with NBCOT, AOTA, and state regulations
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience supervising and supporting students or trainees
Prior experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
Knowledge of electronic documentation systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field
Previous clinical experience in rehabilitative or long-term care settings is preferred
Knowledge of DME procurement and supply management
Other Requirements:
Active licensure and adherence to professional practice acts and codes
Willingness to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and conferences
Ability to work scheduled days and support the clinical team effectively
This rewarding position offers an hourly pay rate of $38.86, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
