Registered Behavior Technician - IDD - California

Required Skills
Valid RBT Certification recognized by the BACB.
Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, Communication, and active listening skills.
Ability to implement treatment plans under supervision.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Basic knowledge of data collection and documentation procedures.
Compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
Nice to Have Skills
Prior experience working with individuals with IDD.
Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish.
Familiarity with electronic health records and data management systems.
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred.
Prior experience working in behavioral health, special education, or similar settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, if travel is required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Able to pass background checks and clearances as required by law.
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00, commensurate with experience.
