Required Skills:
Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required and must be maintained
Proven clinical skills specific to Medical/Surgical nursing
Strong communication skills tailored to diverse patient populations
Ability to assess and respond effectively in emergency situations
Knowledge of infection control procedures and patient safety standards
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior travel or agency RN experience
Additional certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, or Med-Surg certifications
Experience working with a diverse patient demographic
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical units
Familiarity with hospital protocols and standards
Other Requirements:
Availability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
Ability to handle physical demands including patient transfers and prolonged standing
Willingness to travel and adapt to various healthcare environments
Valid licensure and certifications at the time of start date
Compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $54.94, with a 12-hour shift from 7 PM to 7 AM starting March 2, 2026.
