What You’ll Do:
Provide nursing care for surgical patients including Orthopedic, General, Podiatry, GYN/OB (including C-sections), Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy cases
Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient assessment, planning, and documentation
Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including medication administration rights
Support patient advocacy and respect diverse cultural and religious beliefs
Communicate effectively with patients’ families and team members
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning and training
What You Need:
Active RN license in the state of NM
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA)
Verbal CPI hire required
Minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer knowledge
