Required Skills:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the New Mexico Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
Proven ability to evaluate, develop, and implement effective treatment plans
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (additional languages preferred)
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with physical therapy modalities and equipment
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical medicine principles
Ability to interpret medical referrals accurately and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
BLS certification valid at the time of application
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in varied healthcare environments
Multilingual capabilities
Previous travel therapy experience
Familiarity with documentation and billing procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
At least 1-2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
Experience with physical therapy machines, maintenance, and repairs
Knowledge of safety protocols, infection control, and departmental policies
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel frequently to different healthcare facilities
Compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations
Willingness to participate in ongoing performance improvement, safety, and CQI activities
Possession of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
