What You’ll Do
Evaluate and treat neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems to improve patient mobility and function
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and patients
Administer a variety of physical therapy modalities and therapies, including therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and gait training
Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home programs
Supervise and collaborate with PT assistants and rehabilitation staff
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress
Communicate regularly with the referring physician about patient outcomes
Promote a team-oriented approach to patient care and quality improvement initiatives
What You Need
Required:
Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
BLS certification from AHA
Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting
Preferred:
Strong assessment, decision-making, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
