What You’ll Do
Provide specialized nursing care for pain management patients in a high-acuity setting
Administer pain injections and other treatments in the OR and PACU settings
Monitor patient responses to interventions, document care, and adjust plan accordingly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care instructions, and pain management strategies
Maintain compliance with all clinical standards, protocols, and safety guidelines
Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
What You Need
Required:
RN license in NM or valid compact license
BLS certification from AHA
At least 1 year of nursing experience in pain procedures, pre-op, OR, or PACU
Preferred:
Experience with pain injection procedures
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
