What You’ll Do
Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for assigned patients.
Deliver routine and complex care in an operating room/surgery environment while adapting to clinical contingencies.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
Assess psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in alignment with your level of practice.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Educate patients, families, and/or caregivers by assessing learning needs and identifying issues/resources.
Coordinate care by making appropriate assignments and delegating to other care providers as needed.
What You Need
Required
RN License: Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
BLS:AHA certification required
ACLS:AHA certification required
Preferred
1+ year of experience in the related nursing specialty
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)

This travel RN role supports an operating room/surgery team at PMC, with an expectation that you’ll float to the main campus as staffing needs require. You’ll work a day shift schedule (6:30AM–5:00PM) on 4x10s, helping deliver patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting while maintaining strong documentation, protocol adherence, and patient-centered education.
