What You’ll Do:
Assist in preparing the operating room for various surgical cases, including transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, and more
Proficiently scrub in multiple specialty areas, supporting complex procedures
Maintain sterile fields, pass instruments, and assist physicians during surgeries
Prepare and set up OR supplies, instruments, and equipment as per case requirements
Handle biological specimens and ensure proper documentation
Adhere to aseptic techniques and OR protocols to ensure patient safety
Support team efforts in facility sanitation, traffic control, and equipment sterilization
Monitor and uphold safety standards, including Universal Barrier Precautions
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care
Perform duties in accordance with hospital policies and local/state regulations
What You Need:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of Surgical Technology or accredited LVN/LPN program
BLS certification from AHA
Preferred:
2+ years of surgical technology experience
Ability to scrub in multiple surgical specialties
Current LVN/LPN license or Surgical Tech certification within 180 days
