What You’ll Do
Provide specialized PACU patient care, ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia
Monitor and record patient vital signs and responses post-surgery
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and modify care plans
Educate patients and families about postoperative care and recovery
Document patient progress accurately in EPIC EMR
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
What You Need
Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact license
Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably in PACU or surgical recovery
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work 10-hour daytime shifts, including weekends and on-call as required
