What You’ll Do
Perform high-complexity microbiology testing following established procedures and policies
Analyze specimens to ensure sample integrity and test accuracy
Confirm unusual results and review data for reporting
Review and report test results accurately to assist clinicians in patient assessments
Maintain laboratory safety protocols, including handling biohazardous materials and chemicals
Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Comply with all CLIA 88 requirements for high complexity testing
What You Need
Required:
Valid CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification
Meet CLIA 88 high complexity testing requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
At least 1 year of general laboratory experience preferred
Effective communication skills in English
Preferred:
Experience in microbiology
Ability to adapt schedule based on workload demands
