What You’ll Do
Perform cardiac and interventional procedures following departmental protocols
Assist in patient preparation and orientation for procedures
Provide patient care and ensure safety during procedures in the Cath Lab
Operate imaging and related equipment accurately and maintain documentation
Maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized work area
Adhere to radiation safety principles for patients and staff
Participate in on-call coverage (10-12 days/month, including weekends)
Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members to foster positive experiences
What You Need
Required:
ARRT certification or eligibility
New Mexico State licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of accredited radiologic technology program
Minimum 1 year radiologic experience preferred
Preferred:
Experience in interventional cardiology or radiology procedures
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and imaging techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
