What You’ll Do
Provide routine and complex nursing care to oncology patients, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Administer medications and treatments following established protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided accurately
Address emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
Educate patients and caregivers about care plans, conditions, and health management
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and meet clinical goals
Adhere to organizational standards and ANA scope of practice in delivering high-quality nursing care
What You Need
Active RN license in NM or a valid compact license
BLS certification from AHA
Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or oncology nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
