What You’ll Do:
Assist in preparing patients and the OR for surgical procedures across multiple specialties (including Transplants, Open Heart, Robotics, etc.)
Maintain aseptic techniques and sterile fields during surgeries
Set up OR tables, instruments, and supplies based on physician preferences
Transfer patients to/from the Operating Room and position them appropriately
Pass instruments and sutures to surgeons, assist as directed during procedures
Ensure the safety and comfort of pre-operative patients, respecting patient privacy and dignity
Monitor and care for biological specimens according to protocol
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver excellent patient care
What You Need:
Current BLS certification from AHA
Certified Surgical Technologist credential or LVN/LPN license
Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience preferred
Ability to scrub in multiple surgical specialties is highly preferred
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical environments
