We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for our Critical Care unit to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, starting as soon as possible. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring safety, quality, and compassion in every interaction. The ideal candidate will hold a current New Mexico RN license or a current Compact state license, along with BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and record initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
Re-assess patients systematically to monitor progress and identify trends requiring intervention.
Develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care aligned with Nursing Standards of Care.
Make informed nursing decisions, interpret patient data, and modify care plans accordingly.
Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
Perform point-of-care testing procedures as needed.
Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Communicate effectively with team members, staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications via AHA.
Experience in critical care nursing preferred.
Work Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95
